Brief Information:

Klayar Beach is a remote white sandy beach which has a huge turqoise exotic tide. The mediterranean rock look alike aside the beach makes it feels like being in the mediterranean sea.  Tourists  usually take a trip to this beach after or before visiting Gong Cave, the most popular tourist spot in Pacitan. FYI, Gong Cave is said to be the most beautiful cave in Southeast Asia.

Klayar Beach is located in Donorojo, Pacitan, East Java, Indonesia. From the famous tourist spot, Gong Cave, it takes an hour ride straight to the beach.

How To Get There:

From Jakarta/Singapore/Kuala Lumpur, you can get a flight to Solo City or Jogja City (blue line). If you are coming from Bali, get a flight to Jogja City first before taking a trip to Pacitan City.

From Solo or Jogja, take a bus or rent a car toward Pacitan regency. It takes about 3,5 hours to get there.  From Pacitan downtown, there is no direct public transportation to Klayar Beach. So, you have to rent a car or motorcycle and drive it by yourself or hire a driver instead. It takes about an hour from Pacitan downtown to Klayar Beach.
